The Reset Dance Retreat offers a unique and inspiring experience for dancers aged 11 to 18 who want to elevate their training with a mindful approach in a safe and supportive environment. Over five nights and six days, dancers will have access to top educators, choreographers, mentors, mindfulness experts, and other leading professionals from the dance industry.
Scheduled for August 24–29, 2025, at Camp Wannakumbac near Clear Lake in Riding Mountain National Park - Manitoba, Canada, this retreat provides an ideal space for dancers to reset their goals and intentions while fostering meaningful connections within a positive and uplifting community.
In addition to daily classes, participants can enjoy recreational activities such as bonfires, hiking, and supervised lake access. Highlights of the week include a professional-style photoshoot to capture the experience and a high-calibre dance showcase featuring choreography from our guest faculty—an unforgettable finale that family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate.

The Experience
For six unforgettable days, dancers will immerse themselves in the expertise of renowned educators, inspiring mentors, and mindfulness specialists in the dance industry.
Daily Dance Classes: 3–5 classes in various styles, including Contemporary, Jazz, Street Styles, Ballroom, and more.
Mindfulness and Wellness Sessions: Classes with mindfulness experts, seminars, yoga, and meditation sessions.
Recreational Activities: Lifeguard-supervised lake access, hikes, bonfires, and free time to relax and recharge.
Professional Photoshoot: One-on-one sessions with a professional photographer, providing valuable on-camera experience and stunning photos to take home.
The week will conclude with a high-calibre dance showcase featuring choreography from our guest faculty. Family and Friends are invited to attend the showcase to bring the week to an unforgettable end.

FAQs
Do all students have access to swim?
Yes, all students will require a parent/guardian-signed waiver for lake access.
Will there be a lifeguard on duty?
Yes, a lifeguard will be on duty at all swim hours.
Can students bring their own snacks from home?
Yes, but all snacks must be nut free and approved in advance
What if my child has a dietary restriction?
The Reset dance Retreat kitchen is equipped to tend to any dietary needs.*some specialty dietary needs will require a $10.00 /day charge
Will there be Reset merchandise for sale?
Yes! Prior to the retreat, Dancers will receive a merch order form. All pre-ordered merchandise will be delivered with the dancer's welcome package upon arrival at the retreat
Are cell phones allowed?
Cellphones are permitted at the retreat, although we encourage dancers to limit usage. Cell phones will not be permitted during class time.
Will Dancers receive photos or videos from their time at the retreat?
Yes, we will have a videographer in all classes. dancers will receive a downloadable link at the end of the retreat.
What happens if we need to arrange alternative transportation for my child at the end of the retreat?
If you are unable to pick up your child(ren) or arrange a carpool at the end of The Retreat - please let us know as soon as possible (3 weeks before The Retreat) We will provide alternative transportation for an additional $75.00 / per child.
What is the refund policy?
Deposits are non-refundable. Full tuition refunds are available until February 1st, and 50% refunds are offered from February 2nd to March 31st. No refunds will be issued after April 1st. Tuition, excluding deposits, can be transferred to the next year until June 1st. Installments are billed every 30 days after the deposit.

Camp Wannakumbac is located steps away from Clear Lake, which is within the boundary of Riding Mountain National Park. In addition to Dance Education, dancers will have access to all camp amenities such as lake access, bonfires, hikes and more!
